KOBUS PIPE PULLER CONSUMABLES

The Kobus Pipe Puller uses a couple of specially designed ‘consumables’ for each pull.  Firstly, the steel Pulling Cable gives the optimum pulling load-to-cable diameter ratio, crucial for a successful pull.  Secondly, the Kobite Bonding Compound is a special, unique formulation 2-pack compound.  This cures to form a composite ‘rope’ between the pipe and cable to aid the pull.  Importantly, this is only required when replacing lead pipes.

Specially formulated KOBITE bonding compound.  Two-pack bonding compound with catalyst.

Recommended for use with 1/2″ lead pipe to minimise risk of ‘balling up’ of lead pipe during pull

Cure time circa 20 minutes

Inject between pipe inner wall and steel pulling cable using Kobite dispensing gun
